In addition to the shirts for PEC Zwolle and Gent, Craft Sportswear gave me the opportunity to design a new banner for their shop in Leusden (nearby Utrecht).
INTRODUCTION
The brief was to create a banner that showed the history and identity of Craft Sportswear. The wall was expected to be 6 meters wide and had to present Craft’s most iconic moments.
Beyond that, there wasn’t really a clear briefing that allowed me to come up with ideas and develop concepts.

INSPIRATION
I brainstormed together with my manager, and we selected pictures of the best moments. Our first idea was to make a chronological timeline, but while making my mood boards I saw this style of Travis Scott. I tried to incorporate this inspiration to my own work, which turned out nicely in my opinion.
CONCEPT
During the presentation of different concepts, the director told me that I couldn’t just come up with a self-invented slogan. He chose, in my opinion, the most standard, meaningless version. My preference was clearly to the “collage version”, so I decided to finalize both versions.
I went back to the design table and thought of what I could do differently, so that this version would appeal to the director. His feedback was not about the design, what made me think of a suitable text. I compared their norms and values and changed the title to “For world champions and everyday heroes”.
