Hoe kijk jij, which means “How do you watch”, is about a concept I’ve made with the message that a first look doesn’t always tell the whole story.

INTRODUCTION

Everybody has their own perspective of how they observe things, people, and the world. In my environment I noticed that people had prejudices about immigrants.

We think that our own perspective is always right, but the story our brain tells is always incomplete. Making this poster was not a briefing or assignment, but a social experiment that shows my creativity and storytelling skills.

INSPIRATION

When I thought about how to show people different views, I came across ambiguous art with perhaps the most famous image of the young and old woman.

CONCEPT

The purpose of this poster is to make people think about if the first image that they see a correct one. Because you will miss details when you watch trough your own perspective only.
